This piece documents the experience of my mother, Dianne Dunn, as she engages and reacts to her surroundings. In making this work, I was struck by the parallels between my own experience of moving in water and my mother’s experiences. I discovered that we both feel the water ‘decenters’ us, shifting our focus from pedestrian movement to creative movement.  ​​​​​​​
